Nikos Karoutsos has been with Artemis ITS for more than sixteen years, joining as Finance Manager in 2010 and serving as Group Chief Financial Officer since 2020. He has overseen the group’s finances through its entire growth arc — from a single-country operation into a ~900-person organization across Greece, Germany, the Netherlands and Austria — spanning group financing, audited reporting, banking relationships, and the financial management of rapid multi-market expansion, including the group’s German operations.
For Artemis ITS Inc., he leads financial governance, reporting and controls, including the U.S. entity’s banking, insurance and equipment-financing framework – the operational foundations a new market entrant needs before the first crew mobilizes.
Before Artemis, he spent a decade in international finance roles, including construction-sector finance across the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Europe. He holds a BA in Financial Economics from the University of Essex and an MSc in Business Economics, Finance & Banking from the University of Portsmouth, and has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance.
